qPrimerDepot

qPrimerDepot is a primer database for RT-PCR analysis of greater than 99% of human and mouse RefSeq genes. These primers sets are designed to be used under uniform annealing temperatures to facilitate their application in large scale high throughput assays. For intron-bearing genes, over 90% of the primer sets are designed to produce amplicons bridging exon:exon junctions of intron-bearing genes. Thus, preserving the signal to noise ratio against genomic contamination. The database is available on line at http://primerdepot.nci.nih.gov/ and http://mouseprimerdepot.nci.nih.gov/.
