Population and Community Ontology

Other names: PCO

Population and Community Ontology (PCO) is an ontology standard for describing the collective and interacting species of any taxa such as humans or plants. PCO has useful application in community health care, plant pathology, behavioral studies, sociology, and ecology. The PCO is compliant with the Basic Formal Ontology (BFO) and is designed to be compatible with other OBO Foundry ontologies.
