Plant Experimental Assay Ontology

Other names: PEAO, Plant Experimental Assay Ontology (PEAO), peao

The Plant Experimental Assay Ontology (PEAO) was created to describe experimental procedures within plant research, regardless of the scientific questions that prompted the assays. This ontology models entities from three distinct realms (biological, physical and data), which include experimental products, their relations and the protocols describing their manipulation. PEAO is intended to be used as a log book by experimentalists, providing a formal relation between entities.
