The Genomic Contextual Data Markup Language (GCDML) is a core project of the Genomic Standards Consortium (GSC) that is a reference implementation the Minimum Information about a Genome Sequence (MIGS/MIMS/MIMARKS), and the extensions the Minimum Information about a Metagenome Sequence (MIMS) and Minimum Information about a MARKer gene Sequence (MIMARKS).
