Placental pathology: current terminology with definitions, short descriptions, and representative images pertaining to the cause, origin and nature of placental disease. The Placental Pathology Lesion Classification was developed by a PAT External Scientific Panel Member, placental pathologist Dr. Raymond Redline. This terminology is a continuation of the effort of the Amsterdam Placental Lesion Consensus Group.
