The Chronic Condition Indicator for ICD-10 disease codes allows to identify a diagnosis as indicating a chronic condition. It distinguishes between: Chronic (e.g. malignant cancer, diabetis, obesity and many mental conditions, Acute (e.g. aortic embolism, bacterial infection), Both (e.g. kidney transplant rejection, persistent asthma with (acute) exacerbation and Not Applicable (e.g. external cause of morbidity). Refreshed yearly. Contains a single CSV relating the disease code with the predicted class. ICD-9 version is also available.
